Tatiana Shmailyuk (Lead Vocals) - JINJER

All Hail the Yeti

To sum up All Hail the Yeti in the briefest of ways… LOUD AF! The Metalcore band from LA brought a cinematic performance with skulls, antlers, and paganistic nature surrounding the center stage altar. The quad of guys had a great balance of sound and engaged the crowd as if they were all just a group of old friends.

Suicide Silence

"...flipped the insanity switch..."

Another California band, Suicide Silence, brought Charlotte some hard hitting Metal Deathcore with them. Despite the lead singer and lead guitarist testing positive for Covid-19, the remainder of the band still hit the stage and used pre-recorded tracks to substitute the missing members. Suicide Silence flipped the insanity switch and the crowd reacted accordingly with a massive circle pit forming and fans being hoisted into the air.

JINJER

"...pelted with incoming crowd surfers..."

Finally, Jinjer took the stage with their badass lead singer, Tatiana Shmailyuk. Tatiana seduces the crowd with her clean and resonating vocals mixed with extreme gutturals that showcased her insane versatility. This femme fatale oozed confidence and beauty while belting out raw vocal extremes one would never expect to come from a female. With amazing stage presence, the crowd just couldn’t seem to get enough of the band as they surfed their way to the stage amongst their fellow fans. We kept being pelted with incoming crowd surfers and all of us photographers were grateful for security continuously rescuing us from the overzealous patrons.
