Dennis DeYoung's New Album "26 East, Vol. 1.” Out Today on Frontiers Music Srl

Certifiably the second coming of this rock star

-Chicago Tribune-

Its ten tracks manage to veer easily between wistful nostalgia, the tentative future, and very, very current events.

-Houston Press-

A ten-song collection of soulful ballads (no surprise there) and fierce rockers (maybe a surprise, at least if you haven’t paid close enough attention to the Styx catalog.)

-American Songwriter-

Pure vintage Styx

-Chicago Sun Times-

Breathtaking in both scope and sound

-Classic Rock Magazine-

26 East is a Masterpiece

-Legendary Radio Personality Scott Shannon

DeYoung's vocals are as good as ever. Styx fans will be very pleased!

-Goldmine Magazine-

Former Styx member Dennis DeYoung is back with a new original solo album, "26 East, Vol. 1, which has been released today via Frontiers Music Srl. Stream and order your copy of the album on CD/Vinyl/Digital HERE

“26 East” was the address where DeYoung grew up in Roseland, IL on the far south side of Chicago. This is the home where Styx was formed in his basement in 1962. Across the street lived the Panozzo twins, John and Chuck, who along with DeYoung would go on to form the nucleus of the band. The cover artwork features three locomotives traveling through space, representing the original members leaving Chicago on their journey to the stars.

Don’t forget to watch the video for Dennis’ duet with Julian Lennon, “To The Good Old Days.”  The video’s imagery spans the life and career of DeYoung, featuring a rare look into his personal archives, highlighting the entire span of his musical career, his fifty year marriage, and his extended family. A touching, heartfelt video that speaks to the memories we all hold dear. Watch it HERE
